Listening to KKUT-HD3, the top of hour ID said KKUT-HD3 Mt Pleasant and K244DH. No mention of KQMB.

The direct stream is still running Utah's Goat with the old liners too. Is anyone within range of KQMB/KUTN? Might Sanpete run the two stations separately? I'm not sure if that makes sense or not. The KUTN calls don't fit with the word Flashback in any way I can think of.

I'm in AF listening to 96.7, which I assume is coming off Lake Mountain. It's clean and clear. The imaging needs help for sure. The DJ is fine. kinda generic so far..

American Fork would definitely be K244DH. The direct stream (45.79.99.31) was running dead air at just before 4PM when I turned it on. A minute or so later it came back with the legal ID and then music as normal. Just before 4:30 it cut off abruptly at the end of Lido Shuffle and it's still dead. I'm getting the impression we caught them in the middle of rejiggering the feeds. (That's a technical term.  ) |

I'm not hearing a live stream at utahsgoat.com as of 6:30 PM, and the audio feed on the Simple Radio app is dead as well. There's bound to be some technical glitches during the transition from Utah's Goat to Flashback 96.7. 🙂

If Flashback 967 is going to stream, which I imagine they will, (although, since it appears to be a satellite driven format, maybe not(, the stream path will most likely change since Frank and Melanie were paying for the streams for the Goat. I would imagine the Bartons have their own streaming platforms they use. I could be totally wrong, though, because the stream paths to both KZNS AM and FM didn't change when Bonneville took them over. If Flashback stays on the same stream then the Muellers could just give the Bartons access to that streaming account and they could just take over payments I suppose. I was thinking KUTN didn't make sense for Flashback either but, perhaps, it could just stand for Utah's Ninety-six-seven. I hadn't even thought of them putting a different format on the Levan station than on the Saratoga Springs translator. I guess there's nothing that says they can't.

There's one big difference between The Zone and 96.7, oldiesfunhouse: Ryan Smith (Jazz Communications LLC) still owns 1280 & 97.5; Bonneville is only responsible for taking care of the day to day operations of the stations. Sanpete County Broadcasting owns 96.7 & 1400, as well as being responsible for the everyday operation of the stations and providing the programming. That's probably why the streaming feed for The Zone stayed the same, while the streaming for Utah's Goat is changing. I wouldn't expect the Mueller's to continue to foot the cost of the streaming feed now that the transfer of ownership is complete. |

utahgoat.com still works but it just redirects to the correct domain utahsgoat.com

I shut down the stream because I didn't want to be streaming something different than what they were doing over the air. I imagine they will launch a stream soon but I don't think they plan on using the streaming server I've been using, which we have been paying for (the cost is minimal because we were small). The reason it was off and then kicked back on for a little was because I forgot to pull a timed autofire out of the old playlist (oops ) Regarding KUTN, I believe it is running their "Boss" format. It is no longer running the same thing as K244DH and KKUT HD3. |
