Can anyone verify if K244DH is still on the air? I heard a rumor that it's off the air, so I need to verify the current status of K244DH. Thanks!

Listening to KKUT-HD3, the top of hour ID is now saying “KKUT-HD3 Mt Pleasant, Provo, Payson”. No mention of K244DH. Are translators required to ID every hour? If so, they’re not doing it.

CA is correct. When we ID'd the translator the way we did, it was because I wanted people to hear the "Saratoga Springs" mention, just to tie it more to Utah County. Very few people ID translators the way we did.

For those of us who are out of range, can someone tell me how Flashback compares to Utah's Goat? Playlist, presentation, anything like that.

For those of us who are out of range, can someone tell me how Flashback compares to Utah's Goat? Playlist, presentation, anything like that. I'll give a disclaimer that Doug is a friend of mine, so I'm probably biased, but I think it does a good job of expanding on what we started. The format is still primarily 60's and 70's, but the 50's that were sprinkled in are now gone, there is some early 80's sprinkled in, and they do deeper cuts that I never got a chance to expand into ("#9 Dream" by John Lennon, "GTO" by Ronny & the Daytonas, etc), stuff that still charted well but maybe didn't chart for as long as I had set for my minimum bar when I was setting up my library. There's still some bugs to work through, but overall, I like it and think they have the resources to expand where we couldn't. |

I listened to Flashback one the day that I was in Lehi last week and I will be in Lehi two days this week and I plan to listen some more. So far, I have liked it quite a lot. I did not get the "satellite" vibe. Instead, it sounds local. Not sure about "live". Probably voice tracked. I think that Mid Utah Radio is trying for the gap between KMGR and the Eagle (KLGL). I just hope they get a stream set up soon.
On second thought, it has been a while since I last listened to KLGL. They seem to have switched from classic hits to contemporary hit radio. So maybe that is not what Mid-Utah is aiming for.
On third thought, KMGR also seems to have evolved from where it was pre-Covid. It now seems to be more of a light rock station than Easy Listening Full Service.

Thanks. Hopefully I'll get to hear it at some point.
I looked for domains that might go with the new identity and I couldn't find any. Even the obvious 'flashback967.com' is currently unregistered. That seems like a major oversight unless this format is temporary (which I doubt.)

Flashback 96.7 is back on.
I haven’t listened enough to compare the music of Flashback to the Goat, but I do notice that Flashback has a lot more ads.
Personally, I listen to Kool FM (KUDD-HD2) because they have a stronger signal here on the east side of Salt Lake County.
