Does anyone have a list of specific makes/models that fall under this issue? I bought mine in late 2005 so I don't know if mine qualifies. I haven't seen a letter yet regarding it. I will watch.

Am told (haven't checked) 94.9 FM is silent. Am also told (not verified) the Blaze is on 97.5 for the moment.

CA, yeah, i suppose it could've been either way. But my Sony CD/clock radio is pretty touchy on weaker signals... it's a regular analog dial tuner so... The sound on it is pretty good though, for a clock-radio.

i used to transmit my internet radio station over an FM xmitter and was screwed a few times when it went down or the signal was too weak and my clock radio drifted off.

I loved the idea when Clear Channel started doing it. (I think it's been done before too) It was simple, clean and really helped the listeners know what song is on. Plus it added to stations that were already just music jukeboxes. But for a Country station and an AC to go that route too is just irritating. I'm waiting for CC to get frustrated with all the copy-catting and go back to live DJ's, just to irritate the competition.

Do public places have to pay something for playing a local station? I didn't know that. I know the McD's in AF always has KSFI on. I thought that would be like free advertising for the station. Plus when PPM comes, there's another listener.

We have a family campout planned at the Grand Canyon. I've never been there. I would like if some of you could help out by suggestion good camping spots (for a tent). I appreciate any ideas or advice.
Thank you!

Probably needs a new topic... I recall awhile back, KEGA applied for a translator/booster in Riverton. I understand they were denied, but where was it going to be? How much power? When the FCC declined to approve it, does that mean no one gets a Riverton booster/translator? Or can some other company apply again?

KID ROCK - All Summer Long I'm calling it the Tahoe Song of Summer That song sounds real good to me. At times I get confused whether the riff is from Sweet Home Alabama or Werewolves of London....
