I just heard this at the end of NBC News on the hour on 99.1:
“KJMY HD2 and K256AE, locally owned and operated since 1997.”

Um, no it's not locally owned unless they're talking about stockholders who live locally. I don't buy that for a minute. Both are owned by iHeart who is the largest radio operator in the US. It was also KJMY HD2 that was discussed giving the wrong community of license almost a year ago. ( talkingutahradio.proboards.com/thread/1915/easy-99-1-missing ) Maybe whoever is in charge just doesn't know what they're doing?
