The 99.1 carrier is still on, but no modulation. Its source, 99.5 HD2, is also missing. HD1 is also off.

FWIW, the internet stream for Easy 99.1 is still on. Makes me think the issue is technical rather than of a programming nature. I could be wrong, though. It's a great station but in a crowded market I imagine it's hard for them to get listeners with the low power of 99.1 and the lack of HD radios out there. I hope it doesn't go away. It's a good station. I'm not a big iHeart fan, to be honest, but I do like Easy 99.1.

99.1 and 99.5 HD2 were back up as of about 6 PM Friday night. I'm listening now at about 2 o'clock in the morning on Saturday and they are playing Christmas music. They took a commercial break and things were playing on top of each other so this may be another programming glitch. Also, in their legal ID they identify as KJMY HD2 Centerville. Isn't KJMY's city of license Bountiful?

With the big snowstorm this week I wouldn't be surprised if something had gone wonky. I'm not reading much into it. The Christmas music could be from an emergency/failsafe source at the transmitter. That's a fairly common way of getting something on the air in case of disaster. I've heard stories....like the dread of hearing a particular song on the air because you know that's not in the rotation and is only on the emergency tape. ;D
And yes KJMY is licensed to Bountiful. It's KNRS-FM that's licensed to Centerville.

Is 99.1 programmed locally? Meaning if a glitch happened, would it be with an in-house system like Nextgen, or something on the corporate level that could affect other stations with the same format?

##Calling IHeart engineer but wait message says he's been laid off refers me to call local Handy Man Joe who says he got no keys to the Friendship Manor where equipment is located because the Big Boss over SLC cluster is in FiJi right now enjoying 2019's bonus So Handy Man Joe goes back to work shoveling snow around Friendship Manor while his bluetooth signal playing his favorite Christmas music transfers to 99.1's equipment on the roof##

Things are back to normal on Easy 99.1. I don't know when it happened but when I tuned in again around 11:30 in the morning on Saturday, it was their normal format. Easy's legal ID definitely is identifying Centerville as KJMY HD2's COL and I think it has all along. I suppose the FCC has much bigger fish to fry than that little discrepancy.

I have to disagree. Giving the COL as Centerville is not a little discrepancy. You could argue that adding something non-compliant like "-AM" or "in" would be de minimis since it does accurately convey the required information even though it doesn't technically meet the rules. Bountiful and Centerville are two completely different cities. Would you accept Salt Lake as the COL? Denver? Of course someone has to complain for anything to be done.
