The K-Love translator west of Provo at 90.5 will be moving to 95.3 and shifting their pattern slightly.
At the moment they're claiming it as a fill-in translator for 107.5. Is there any need for that or is this a precursor to something else?

The new one will be increasing power, but with the pattern, most of it is directed at the south central portion of Utah County (while still covering from Orem to Payson). I wonder if something is coming on 90.5 or if there was just too much interference with the Salt Lake Xlator on the same frequency (K213CQ). K213CQ also has a CP to lower power and change its pattern as well. Interesting....

I'm sure there was a thread about it at some point, but it seems to have disappeared for some reason.
The reason for both of those changes is KBJF licensed to Nephi that will be coming on air. That will be putting a city grade signal well past Provo.
