I've listened to it occasionally. I like hearing newscasts from other countries. It was interesting to hear other takes on the Egypt business. I don't have a program schedule, so I never know what's going to be on. Sometimes I retransmit it through my house on a C Crane FM transmitter so I can listen to it while in bed. Usually though, I have my HD radio set to 94.2HD2, the smooth jazz thing.

There is an on-line programming schedule at: www.wrn.org/listeners/#home-listenersJust click on the "WRN English North America" link on the left, for the correct schedule. Also, there's a mailing list (on the right of that same page), which gets a weekly newsletter, with details on each program.

I wish we had that on HD here in Portland. Then again, I can barely find an HD radio and it's $129 for a radio... at Fry's.

Best Buy has an Insignia portable HD radio for $40. I don't know how good it is.
I have the Sony XDRF1HD tuner. It is excellent. Amazon is selling it for $80

The website was apparently written by those infinite monkeys with infinite keyboards. Almost the whole damn thing is written in scripting and is one big whitespace. Good job. (Not!)

I also recommend the Sony. I got mine for less than $100 as well from a friend. It is quite possibly the best radio I have ever owned to date.

I tried the WRN Website yesterday and the program guide just kept flashing nonsense. However, today it appears to be working properly.

It should scroll down a ways, and includes drop-down schedules and all sorts of stuff. Attachments:
