You know it's been awhile since I've listened to KBER and since I'm in Tahoe it's not like I can go in the car listening to it but......
I pulled it up online and heard this.... Utah's KBER 101 Classic Rock That Really Rocks when did that happen? I guess it makes since cuz you have Citadel' 94.9 Z-Rock and now KBER's gone back to it's roots leaving the new rock up to Z-Rock

Happened a little over a month ago. Change was very gradual, in fact, I still hear some of the previous incarnation in the current KBER. I like it, as I've always been a fan of classic rock.

I think it was partially in response to the demise of Utah's 104.7 that was pretty heavily classic rock.
The chain went something like this: 101.9 The End dropped AAA to go Gen-X. 104.7 dropped the rather eclectic hits format (heavy on the classic rock as I mentioned) to go AAA. K-Bear 101 slid some more classic rock in to help fill the void (such as it was.)
Did I miss anything?

KBER sounds good. They seem to go through this "classic" stage once every few years. It makes sense now as they need to differentiate themselves from Z-Rock.
