Welcome to the inaugural edition of TUR Trivia Time! Here's how it works. I post a trivia question. You answer by sending a private message to me. (Clicking the folder icon on the left side of this post is the easiest.) The thread will be locked until I post the answer. If you use Google to find the answer, at least admit that you did. It's only fair. The first question is I believe moderately difficult. Prolific inventor Philo T. Farnsworth was born in and died in Utah. His most famous invention, the electronic television, was not invented in the state. What city was it invented in? Guesses taken until 11:59PM Thurs July 31

Pens down everyone. The correct answer is open to a little bit of interpretation. In a technical sense (pun intended) the correct answer is San Francisco. That was where the first working version was created and that was the answer that I intended. Mr. Farnsworth first came up with the concept while he was in school in Rigby ID, so you can make a case for there as well. Since a theory still needs to be proven, I think San Francisco is a better answer. You can make your own call. Evidence for other answers is welcome as well. Friendlee gave both answers and gets extra credit. Timmy gave Rigby. Other answers were sadly wrong, though you can appeal.
