All of Cache Valley's stations were seemingly off air or lower power this afternoon, I'm presuming due to the weather, and wow! KMGR is booming in right now without KLZX in the way. KMGR sounds pretty good, but has the noticeable tropo like effect where it is fading periodically.
I called KLZX to let them know of the problem but it seems to be effecting all of their stations.
KBLQ is weak KLZX is nonexistent with KMGR taking over KKEX is very very weak. Oddly enough, I can't hear KQMB. KVFX is weak as well.
All of these stations seemed to go away at the same time, at roughly 3:30 this afternoon. I even checked if my antenna was having problems, but nothing is screwy with it.

Wow that was fast, as of an hour later, the problem has been fixed and all stations are back to where they were. Its amazing how good KMGR was making it up here though. KLZX's HD is locking as is KKEX's which says "HD-FM". Good job!

Interesting, but all of those stations have boosters. I wonder why KLZX disappeared completely.

I'm thinking it was the boosters that went down not the mains. I'm pretty sure I was hearing the main signals of KKEX, KBLQ and KVFX (which is why they were very weak). I also think the weather enhanced KMGR quite a bit causing the fading. It didn't hit any bars on the Sony (like the CV signals do) but it did come in strong. It was refreshing to hear something new(er) after a month + of dead band conditions. I have to give praise to the engineering staff up at CVRG for the quick fix.
