Surprised nobody has been talking about this yet.
Has anyone else heard about some Millcreek stations moving in with Simmons down at Trolley Square?

Haven't heard of this. Is it being done for convenience or another issue?

Take that back, have since heard of this, along with a number of rumors. Unfortunately, there is not enough factual information yet to confirm this but the buzz says it is happening, for one reason or another.

From what I have heard the 2 companies are in the process of merging. I to have heard there will be a move. If Millcreek does move to Simmons, I don't know if they will have their own offices or share space with Simmons.
Plus, how do we know Simmons won't move to the Millcreek bldg.?

That's just it, there isn't enough information yet, but I doubt Simmons would move. What I heard says the other way around.

That's just it, there isn't enough information yet, but I doubt Simmons would move. What I heard says the other way around. Not all of Simmons at least. How about KZNS moving over to the Millcreek bldg Who says they won't be utilizing both buildings? After-all you can only own so many FM's! So just form another company, call it something different, with an operating agreement for kzns and a few fm's in the millcreek building. Combine the bigger stations (u92 x96 kudd) at Trolley and get some real sales and marketing power.

One big advantage to the Simmons building is location. More visible. Easier to get to. Etc.

Of course, it would be pronounced in the local accent as "crick".

This has got to violate some sort of FCC rule. Or are there no longer any market caps?
Seriously:
- X96 - Jack - Movin - Eagle - U92 - Mix - The Blaze - 104.7
That's 8 FMs! Not to mention all the AMs. I'm sorry, but that's illegal through and through.

Also: Just my luck. I've come to really like Millcreek's stations. Wanna bet Simmons will ruin 'em and turn them into soulless Nexgen bots within six months?

That's 8 FMs! Not to mention all the AMs. I'm sorry, but that's illegal through and through. I don't think there are any rules about sharing the same building together. Now if they merge yea that could be a problem but if kept seperate companies I don't see a problem.
