Telemundo has been Digital on channel 10 for a long, long time.
It sounds like Multimedios has left channel 20-4 and the analog translators, replaced with Radio Exitos. Not sure if it's due to the rumored demise of Multimedios, or if it's a technical problem. Multimedios has been on 20-4, with translators K59GS in downtown SLC, and K22IT (Provo), and K49GD in Spanish Fork.

When I contacted KTMW about 20.4 they told me that Exidos Radio/TV purchased their Spanish Fork transmitter and may spin it off to a separate station. They were not certain if it would stick on 20.4 or not. KTMW is planning to offer different content on 20.2, 20.3 and possibly 20.4 if Exidos has it's own digital transmitters. Other than putting a shopping channel on one of them to help pay for the bills they didn't know what was going to go on the other digital sub-channels. I was recommending RTV (Retro Television Network)
What I was confused about is that I could get the digital 10.1 (and the sub-channels) in Clearfield about a year ago then they suddenly stopped. Even going to a friends house in Layton or Kaysville the station wouldn't come in. Did they reduce their broadcast power?

The only way I see that working would be if either there was an affiliate switch or the programming on 20.x would be a simulcast of what's on KCSG. The second seems unlikely but who knows. For the right price.... Probably something to do with the interference that caused them to request to me moved to Ch 14. I'm seeing now that special temporary authority was granted for the move to 14 on Jan 7. They could move any time now. The virtual channel would probably change to 46 but don't hold me to that.

From what little I've seen of THIS, it is disappointing. The aspect ratio being wrong doesn't help either. If they are going to do it, they should at least throw it in 16:9 like most films are.

RTV is one of the digital sub-channels I would like to see added along the Wasatch Front. I hope that some deal could be completed for OTA broadcast. Strange thing is that the RTV website has KUSG listed as the St. George affiliate.
Any new networks would be good in my books. Locally produced TV, TuffTV (or any of the planned 10 Luken Communications networks), .2 Network (if it launches), America One, @sportstv, AMGTV, TheCoolTV, Funimation, etc.
Thank you for the info. I'll keep an eye out.

Are you watching on Comcast? They're screwing up the aspect ratio. The off-air feed of 2.2 is in the correct ratio. I agree that the cable feed looks awful and they need to fix it.

I've noticed some aspect ratio problems on the OTA at times. I wonder if KUTV is using the AFD (Automatic Format Descriptor) on 2-2, and maybe Comcast is having problems with it , too.
