At least in Salt Lake City, on RF-39 I am getting KSVN for the first time ever.
The switch happened some time over the weekend as Channel 66 is now dark, and has been for at least two days.
This is the first new DTV station in Utah in 2010.

THIS IS JUST NOT FAIR!!!! I've been monitoring channel 39 for weeks, trying to be the first one. Now, I miss just ONE day of scanning and somebody beats me to it. I'm gonna go look for their other one on Channel 25, now. (Wait! I wasn't going to mention that one yet. Guess I won't be first to log THAT channel, either!) Anyway, congrats .

Sorry I didn't know it was a race As far as channel 25, I didn't read anything, and I know nothing

So I checked 25 after reading this thread and 25.1 came up. However it had no sound. I did have sound on 39.1
No digital sub-channels on either broadcast.

I should have looked closer when I got the tip off about 39. Comcast's feed of KSVN is probably from K66FN, and that was down this past weekend. Weird thing is, the channel ID says KSVN, but itreally isn't, right? Isn't that against the rules? I can also confirm The Doctor's reception of 25 with a virtual channel of 45 which is definitely wrong. 25 or 49, yes. Combining the two, no. And it currently has no sound. Even odder, it looks like 39 (ex 66) went down in the last 5 minutes since I rescanned. Oops. Now 45 is gone too. Apparently adjustments are underway. P.S. I hate brain dead DTV boxes with limited user control.

So wait, 25 is on the air too? If so, Kenglish you got beat again! EDIT: Yep, it is, getting it here. KSVN-LD. CA, in Park City, KSL's translator doesn't give its ID, it just says KSL. I don't know the rules about digital translators...

I didn't get 25 last night. 39 showed up in a scan, with a freeze-frame, then was black. PSIP was there.
According to the FCC files, 38 is the digital companion for K66FN in Salt Lake. 25 is the companion for KSVN-CA in Ogden. Both Digitals, though, are located at SLC.
As for how they are supposed to be numbered in the "Virtual Channel" world, who knows!
I heard they might eventually program 6 channels of programming, total.

For what it's worth, I'm getting 39.1 with ID of KSVN Azteca and also 25.1 with ID of KSVN-LD Azteca. They both have the same programming.

I don't understand why they need two channels with nearly identical coverage both from Farnsworth but its not my decision I guess.

The new 25 and 39 were officially licensed as of Friday. Mark down the callsign as KSVN-LD for 25 and K39JS-D for 39 if you're into that sort of thing.

I'm getting both channels (stations) at home, on an LG box, but no programming. It may be that they are running temporary TSID numbers (KSVN-LD, TSID: 1 and K39JS-D, TSID: 0). Anyone else having problems?

No problem here. I'm still getting 39.1 KSVN and 25.1 KSVN-LD. There's an American movie on, dubbed into Spanish.

No problem here with either 25 or 39. Maybe things are still being fine tuned (so to speak) and some things are still being changed? I presume you rescanned to be sure that wasn't the problem, but you know more about the guts of DTV than I do I'm sure. I wasn't even sure what TSID was until I just did a bit of research, so thank you. (For those who want to get up to speed, you can check www.tvtechnology.com/article/12932)Now what I AM having a problem with is 20.4 KTMW. I'm getting the audio, but no video. (Oh, and the 20.4 program guide only reports what's on 20.1-20.3, but that's normal for them. *sigh*)

20.4 is operated as an LMA by KTMW. I heard a rumor that it's days are numbered, though...along with the analog channels in SLC and Provo. I think something failed at the studio, the reason there's no video.
I rescanned a couple of times, but no luck. So, I'm guessing it's either the TSID, or the signal is just a hair too weak when sandwiched between full-powered stations. I'll try my box at work, or try a little bigger antenna at home.

So wait... Exitos 59 and Telemundo 50 are getting their own digital channels? Yay! Bring on more to DX, I'm getting anxious for the summer skip season.
