Maybe people got tired of the same repeating loop and complained? I still think putting one of Bonneville's radio stations on there is easy free promotion. Even better would be the "HD" streams that most people couldn't get any other way. Let's see. I know Arrow has Deep Tracks. What are KSL-FM and KSFI doing with their other streams these days? (I know I know. I should know this. I just can't muster up enough brainpower to remember for more than a day or two about stuff almost nobody can hear anyway. )

We're using a section of the old Philips Media Pool system to play the music. It's pretty old, and we keep it running for this one purpose, as long as the spare parts hold out. It crashed again Saturday. One day, we'll have to buy a CD Player with AES/EBU outputs, and a synchronizer to lock the stream to video. That might be soon .

As far as KSL properties go:
KSL-DT 5-1 (HDTV) does DD5.1 Surround only. KSL-DT 5-2 (Universal Sports) does DD2.0 stereo only. KSL-DT 5-3 (Live-5 Weather) does DD2.0 stereo and a hidden version of KSFI-FM which can not be heard on consumer receivers. It feeds a translator or two. Copyrights won't allow $imulca$ting of radio in a 'broadcast" mode, so it's a "closed-circuit" feed.
KSL-FM (102.7) HD-2 is "The Mormon Channel", from the LDS Church.
KSFI-FM (100.3) HD-2 is back to "Soft Sunday Sounds", after running standard "FM-100point3" fare during the Christmas season, as an alternate to the special holiday music on the main channel.
KRSP-FM (103.5) HD-2 is "Deep Tracks", which is Classic Rock album cuts that maybe didn't originally make the top of the charts...."Going deeper in to the albums tracks". And, it has a "snow country" connotation, as well. It's programmed out of one of the other Bonneville stations,... Chicago, I believe.

The hidden channel sounds like the old ENG channel in the analog days that was added along with stereo/SAP.

Yay! I should probably aircheck it now before it goes AWOL again.
