Source for current temps on KSL 5.3?

Anybody know where KSL's Live5 weather on 5.3 gets the current temperatures from? There have been some wildly different temperatures in areas not that far from each other all night. Right now, for example, Salt Lake is listed as 10 degrees and South Salt Lake comes in at -14 (yes, a minus!) Both are ridiculously cold, but one is a lot more so.
