Blair Feulner apparently has walked out on station KP-C-W over salary issues. I hope the board does not cave to whatever he is demanding. Now, as we remember, he and his wife did get a large payment for when Community Wireless was able to sell KCUA to MillCreek Media - again, hope they got that in $$$ up front - but a friend of mine raised a valid point. It is likely he and Susan paid around half of that back to the federal and state government in taxes, since it was straight cash. Susan was working as a consultant, which if anyone's worked as an independent consultant, you know that the tax structure for that can be quite high too. Anyway, that's neither here nor there, but I wanted to give some background on the story. Here is the more objective write up in the Park Record of Park City: tinyurl.com/6lt6ntGlen Warchol at the Salt Lake Tribune seems to have an ax to grind against Feulner and Community Wireless, for whatever reason. The tone of his report (albeit a short report) was very biased, in my opinion. Here is the snarky but factual write up from the City Weekly's salt blog: cityweekly.blogspot.com/2008/07/buh-bye-blair.html
