There's an application for a new Ch24 in Logan. My first thought on reading this was "won't the people in Logan who are trying to pick up KPNZ be pissed", but there's an interesting twist. In the application it says "KPNZ CH 24 IS A FULL POWER BROADCASTING FROM FARNSWORTH PEAK IN SALT LAKE CITY. NEGOTIATIONS ARE UNDERWAY TO BE AN AFFILIATE OR REBROADCAST OF THE CONTENT FROM ESTELLA TV NETWORK (HISPANIC PROGRAMMING) WHICH IS OWNED BY LIEBERMAN BROADCASTING. KPNZ CH 24 IS ALSO OWNED BY LIEBERMAN BROADCASTING. APPLICANT WILL ACCEPT ALL INTERFERENCE FROM KPNZ CH 24, BUT THE TERRAIN SHIELDING SHOWS NO INTERFERENCE AT THIS TIME." That seems to solve the distance problem for the Loganites.

I think Logan stations should broadcast down here too, just so we can see what they're all watching on their TVs too.

When the Salt Lake stations tried to run Logan translators on the same channels as the SLC ones, people on the Logan-area benches had major problems. I'm not sure it KPNZ is running at full power or not, but if so (or, if they plan to), they could jam the Logan signal for many people.
Is this KPNZ's owners, or somebody else?

It's not Lieberman that's applying for the station. It's a company called MCUSA headed by a guy named Donald Winters from Pleasant Grove.
