Just a heads up, the RSL game on KALL is also on KJMY HD-2.
Also, why doesn't Clear Channel know how to program their HD signals to display properly.
99.5 identifies itself as "HD-FM" as did KOSY when it was still working. Their RDS has disappeared too. I recall 99.1 having RDS, but none as of right now. KZHT shows its call sign!
What good does showing the call sign as HD-FM do?
Again, to 95% of you, this shouldn't matter, which is my reasoning behind CC's decisions. Nobody cares what it says, just as long as it (HD)s working. If I was the engineer, I'd want it to work and display correctly.

Actually the RSL game is on 570 and 99.5HD-2 and 105.7HD-2 (and probably 99.1 too). I wonder why they are using up 4 diffent signals for this. I miss the oldies that were on 105.7HD-2 up until about a week ago. Now they have 570 on 2 HD channels plus 99.1 . The RSL game is also being televised on 2.2 .
KALL 700 is carrying the U of U football game. And it's televised on some channel that I can't get!

My feeling is that if you're going to do it, then do it right. If the RDS isn't set up correctly or being used in a way that makes a difference to anyone, just disconnect it and sell it. "HD-FM" is useless. Doubly so if it's on multiple stations. Could that be the default for a certain brand of encoder?
Is Freedom 570 on both 99.5/2 AND 105.7/2 full time? That's off the end of the stupid chart.
The U football game is on CBS College Sports. Do you have cable/satellite Terry?

I could have sworn the guy said here on KALL 700 on KJMY HD-2, but yeah, your right, it is a rebroadcast of 570 as always.

Yep, 570 is on 99.5/2 and 105.7/2 full time.
I have Comcast but didn't want to pay for the extra "tier" that has CBS College Sports. If I weren't addicted to Fox News I'd drop the cable altogether.

Do you get "The Mtn" on Comcast? I am getting cable soon so I hope I can see some U games.

Okay, today KJMY was showing artist - title information but still says HD-FM (and on my other radio HD-HD1).
Fixing the title/artist was a start, now add the call sign and you're good to go. I'm guessing its not too hard to program the call letters into the little HD Box on the rack.

I have Comcast's "Starter Cable Tier" plus an HD box, but not the "Digital Classic Tier".

Ah. The "almost not even worth the bother tier". <g>
Ok, that isn't fair. There's some good stuff there.
