Once the next batch of data is released, Arbitron's final diary for Salt Lake City - Ogden - Provo will have dropped.
Starting Thursday of last week, the PPM system went 'live.' Stations have 2 months of "pre-currency" to see while Arbitron supposedly adjusts the panel and metrics.
Good luck to all! Get ready for more compression, but more listeners tha you had before...
Note This is the day "Freedom 570" started, since there is no need for listeners to know how they are hearing it. Ratings will be available the day the data is released.
Any stations rumored to have shunned encoding?

I thought about X96 today when I read that "T-Man" got canned in Seattle. He had a very loyal 'loyalty-based' diary audience, but in PPM's panel he just didn't show. Now KUBE is running ads emphasizing "More music in the morning... and celebrity gossip!" I can't help but wonder how long R.F.H. has. It makes me sad. For Timmy: You asked about pre-currency 6+ numbers - they won't be released. "Currency" will be released, which for Utah is sometime in December if I remember the release schedule correctly. It's messed up as agencies demand that the stations use the new data yet Arbitron claims to be "figuring it out" for those first 2 ratings periods.
