For those of you who keep track of this sort of thing, KSL AM's HD signal has been off air for quite some time. The noise level has significantly decreased. Kudos KSL, leave it off. You're on FM, you don't need the AM HD to be on.
This leaves only KWDZ and KUTR still broadcasting in HD, and the latter turns off at night.
One wonders what AM-HD is good for anyway.
Anyway, thanks again KSL (AM). I can now hear KFAQ 1170 from Tulsa again, and boy does it bring back memories. Love hearing stations from my past.

Hmm, someone reads this board. It is back on. Apparently KSL doesn't listen. The engineer must be stubborn.
Thats okay though, keep forking thousands of your dollars to Ibiquity to produce hash. Its not my station after all.
Note, if someone from KSL does read this board... remember you do have 102.7. Where is the benefit of having HD on your AM signal when you have the FM? Ugh! Not to mention, your cannibalizing the quality of the AM signal itself. Hear the hash on the center frequency? Thats you're beloved HD.

Because they want to catch that one listener who can pick up the AM IBOC (I refuse to call it HD since it isn't) but can't get the FM version?

I bet there are no more than 100 people in this town that own HD radios. I happen to be one of them but my radio is different since its slightly more sensitive than most others.
