Is it just me or are there a lot more nationally televised NFL preseason games this year? I remember from years ago when there were a few here or there, but the vast bulk of them were only shown in the home markets, usually on the independent stations (when those actually existed). When did this change?

I was thinking the same thing.
I even noticed that 2.2 was carrying a Denver Broncos game live in wide screen, standard definition.

Did you happen to notice who produced the game on 2.2? I was wondering if it was CBS or someone else.

2.2 was carrying the broadcast produced by the local Denver channel "CBS4". The CBS4 logo was on the screen fulltime.
