As previously announced, Comcast made some changes on the 18th. First they moved EWTN off analog/digital channel 3 and deposited it on digital 117 only. Second, KJZZ moved from 14 to 3, which is where they were earlier in the decade while Encore was on 14. (Side note: now that it moved I'll never have to see that incessant crawl announcing the move ever again.) I really have to wonder why KJZZ was moved. The only thing I could come up with is that the Miller people requested it. Do they think they'll get more incidental traffic a little lower on the dial? But that wasn't the only change. Even though it wasn't scheduled to leave until the end of the month, KCBU on digital 106 is history. On the other side, there was an unannounced addition. KCSG was placed on 116 at some point. This has to be good news for them. They could really use the additional potential eyeballs and a good part of their schedule would translate to northern Utah just fine. Plus for the 5 people who actually might want to watch MyNetworkTV, they can.
