According to the FCC's web site, a receiver has been appointed to take involuntary control of all of the Legacy Media stations including KOGN and KNFL. Since I'm not an an expert in legal jargon, I don't understand all the definitions used in the court order. But in reading over what's posted on the FCC's web site, I did notice that the court appointed receiver has been ordered to liquidate the assets of Legacy Communications, including all of their silent radio stations. So it sounds like KOGN and KNFL will be on the auction block pretty soon. And if I'm not mistaken, I think KOGN was acquired by the Bible Broadcasting Network from the US Bankruptcy Court in Salt Lake City back in 2004. Talk about irony! I guess KOGN won't be airing the Raptors games again any time soon, eh?

Looks like Skinner got stretched too thin. I think he's on the hook personally for the loans as well as the companies that owned the stations. Too bad.
If BBN did acquire then KYFO(AM) from a bankruptcy court, it was definitely before 2004. They were originally running their Spanish BBN feed on 1490 but then started simulcasting KYFO-FM around 2000 or 2001 or so. From the FCC records, it looks like they put 1490 on the air back in the 70's.
