KSL screws up.

I may be being a little harsh, but this afternoon during the 4 PM news, Nadine Wimmer had some terrible audio problems.

When they came back from commercial, she started talking but you couldn't hear her. She then began fidgeting with her microphone and boom the audio popped back on. It sounded like her mic dropped again as the same problem happened shortly after that. I felt bad for her, she was trying to remain serious and tell the news but the audio was terrible.

KSL cut to commercial quickly, so hopefully they fixed it.
Now I wish I was recording it.

When you say dropped, you mean the audio dropped or the physical mic fell off? Sounds like a broken wire problem from the description, but I didn't see it. And if anyone was wondering, that's why news shows and the like have double lavs. You just hot switch to the backup if the primary fails.

A bit of both. She was messing with it in her hands, but we couldn't see it as the camera was in close.
