I heard somewhere KUCW is having signal/noise problems with their DTV transmitter?
I can no longer receive the station, even with my antenna pointed right at it.
As of 10 AM rescan of the converter box, the count has dropped to 27, minus KUCW. No other stations have turned on their transmitters yet.

Called ABC4 - They have moved KUCW to 4.2 temporarily while parts are coming. Sounds like something melted down on the mountain.

KEnglish mentioned On June 9 that the engineers were aware of something wrong. I guess something somewhere gave up.
I guess it's pretty obvious that this is almost the worst possible time for this to happen. With everyone scrambling right at the switchover deadline to get ready, a lot of people are going to scan once and forget it. When 30/48 comes back, they might not know to look for it. Bad news for CW30's ratings.
I did find something interesting for those of you who bought an RCA DTA800 (at least I think that's the model number.) Those are one of two models at Walmart. The older firmware doesn't have an option in the channel scan menu to keep existing stations and only add new ones. When I did a scan this morning, 30 was obviously missing. Gone from the channel lineup screen. Gone from scanning with the channel up/down buttons. However, it IS accessible if you type in the channel number. That might help if you're looking to see if it's back yet.
