I've noticed a couple of problems lately with some of the DTV stations here in SLC.
KULX-LD 10-3 is currently running a Windows XP screen saver as we speak ( ;D).
KSTU 13-2 has some off and on color problems as well. I think its an over saturation problem or a problem with the feed because all of the sudden the color flips and becomes extremely saturated. It happens every hour or so, and started last night during King of the Hill. I also noticed that the feed is out of sync with 13-1. I watch 13-2 more since it is the HD feed of things.
This may just be my converter box or no fault of the station, just something I've noticed.
Anyway, just a few things I've noticed. Don't mind me!

Hmm. It looks like 13.2 has less saturation then 13.1 to me as of right now. (King of the Hill is on now too.) Those two feeds have never been synced up. Maybe there's an extra A to D conversion in there somewhere.
Local access channels are the ones I usually expect to find weird things like a screen savers or error messages or something. It used to happen on the Weber access channel all the time when they ran a bulletin board. Not something I'd expect from a major broadcast station, but the weather might just be someone's hobby project on the side. I can't see it from here.
I noticed a problem on Comcast's Weber Co feed of at least 2 BYU channels last night. 11 (KBYU-TV) and 21 (BYU TV) were both off the cable, though I checked and the analog and digital signals of the station itself from Farnsworth were both working fine. Maybe Comcast gets a fiber feed from BYU and that went down for some reason. All the other analog channels were fine. Didn't think to look at the digital ones.
