I think the only thing is that if you want to know what KTCE is doing, call them. I am sure they (Brian) is ecstatic that we are talking about the great signal he is getting on the west side of the valley. Brian wouldn't boost his stations performance past any legal limit... I know that. Look up the # and leave a comment on KTCE's answering service. With nothing but love, THE BALD MAN!

You know, Brian used to talk about a Translator up in SL or Davis County on his Freq that would keep him from having that bit of signal he does get into the west part of the Valley when the translator is down. Maybe somebody up there can let us know something about that.

Yep. That was KYFO's translator that first got bumped from 92.7 when KUUU moved from 92.1 Tooele to 92.5 South Jordan. It moved to 92.1, but then went off the air after KTCE complained. After bouncing around a few more times it settled on 91.3 where it is now.
I was doing some more checking on the KTCE signal on the west side today, and it's really hit and miss. On I15 around the 21st South exit it's almost inaudible, but heading west it becomes pretty clear within a half a mile. I figure it must be terrain and there are peepholes that the signal can squirt through if it lines up right or something.

The airport gets a decent signal... waiting in that parking lot for flights to arrive has been a good time for me to scout it out.

Liefson is a ... farud...try and get a paycheck from him... that won't bounce. I take it you've had issues with him. Can you be a little more specific?
