Does anyone know when the next ratings come out? And does anyone know if and when PPM will be used in Salt Lake?
Just curious.

www.arbitron.com/downloads/ppm_delivery_schedule.pdfThis PDF will show you Arbitron's implementation of PPM in the top 50 markets. Salt Lake City and Portland, Ore. are two of the last. Seattle-Tacoma came on line this month so we'll see how things go up here. FriendLee, will the Logan stations be encoding? I know they are part of the full survey, but other than the boosters in Ogden don't generally fit "in the metro." (and for those of you wondering, Encoders are free to any station that wants one)

Sadly, it's going to be a while before we get to see them.
Arbitron appears to be embargoing Salt Lake City by ONE WHOLE BOOK (three months). I'm not sure why. May just be them continuing to legally blackmail KSOP.

The mini embargo has been going on for a while. It's been at least a year, but they're only embargoing the trends, not the full books. The full book only comes out once every three months on the diary system. PPMs are faster and more often. The SL book will probably be coming out in the next week or two, my best guess.
We definitely weren't among the first to get PPM, but most markets aren't even going to be there when we get them in December.
