Surprised I haven't seen anything here yet. I've been told that Bonneville and the Deseret News, together, laid off 47 employees last Tuesday, November 12. I heard 20 from "KSL", but not sure if that includes KRSP and KSFI. A couple of folks from common positions, such as the front desk/switchboard were let go. A few people had already retired a week or so earlier, having planned to months ago. The Deseret News took a hit of 27 employees. Anyone else know more details?

I hadn't heard anything but that's not surprising. It's that layoff time of year. There have been massive national layoffs at iHeart this month as well, including at least a couple at ZHT. At least neither of these RIFs were a few days before Christmas like some have been before.
