K45GX is the Salt Lake translator for KUTF/12 Logan, but it hasn't been running any audio for weeks as far as I can tell. Does anyone even watch it?

Just checked it this evening as of this post and I have audio. Using a WinTV HVR on Windows Vista.

That's very strange. I'm still not getting audio. You're listening to the off air feed right? I've checked the audio settings and there's no stereo or SAP, so there shouldn't be more than one possible audio signal. I must be missing something, but I can't think of what. Everything else is working perfectly.

CA, is the translator digital yet? Is it possible to have a digital picture but not audio?

I'm watching it over the air via my rooftop antenna, I hear audio.

The signal I'm picking up is definitely analog only. I was able to use a different receiver and pick up audio on 45 barely, so apparently it is there. For some reason from my regular viewing location it doesn't get picked up. Maybe the audio carrier is at a lower power than it should be. Other stations with about the same signal strength have audio with no problem. Since Stu's in SL, the signal would naturally be stronger there than where I am. That could explain why you have no problem with it.
Very odd.

Hmm. Found something else. (See the KSVN thread.) I adjusted the frequency offset negative by 10 units on my WinTV and the picture is fuzzier but I'm getting the audio now. The FCC says they shouldn't be running a negative offset, but maybe the audio is.

Offset FAIL on their part lol . Checking WinTV offset positive here in SL still yields audio. Negative is the same. Strangeness. Edit: How well does the signal come in there in Weber County?

It's probably strong enough that the offset can still pick it up. That's just an educated guess though.
45 comes in watchably. It's a bit fuzzy, but it works. I have a very nice UHF only antenna though, so the average antenna might not be as good.
