I don't believe they had one before, so mark down channel 25 from Farnsworth as the digital channel for KSVN. They're currently in analog on 49 from the tower at Riverdale Road in Riverdale.
Interestingly, their translator in Salt Lake (K66FN) has a digital channel on 39 that is virtually identical to the new KSVN-LD. I wonder what programming changes there will be.

Is it on air yet? I did a scan this morning and still only get 25 channels.

I'm not getting it either, though you're still ahead of me in channels. I only get 24. I'm not getting KULX-DT 10, since I'm up near Ogden and I'm only using a UHF bowtie. When it's on air, you'll know it I'm sure.

I am getting anxious for June 12th. They better not extend it any more, I'm sure I'm not the only one who is getting tired of waiting for the transistion.
Are there any plans for any local stations to switch early. Not that I watch these channels but I'd like to see KTMW and KPNZ go digital before June.

I was disappointed in that too, but that's tempered by the problem that there's nothing of any interest to me on either station. If they added subchannels with other programming, that's a different story. I'm not so sure that's going to happen though.
The one I really want to switch/move is KCBU. I doubt I'll be able to pick up the main signal from Weber County, but the translator on 58 should come in just fine. Of course, translators don't have to switch in June. More waiting.

I've noticed Windows Media Center, when connected to my HVR can not receive KUCW's signal, but when I use the program that came with it, WinTV, I get KUCW-DT clear as day. Why in the world would one program be able to receive it clear and the other not. The funny thing is, KUCW analog comes in nice on WMC and WinTV. Funny thing that Windows Vista.

I wouldn't blame Vista in that case, since both programs are running under the same OS right? Probably something funny about media center software. It makes sense that the program that works best is the one written by the people who made the hardware. Other digital channels are fine on both programs? There might be some kind of auto tuning thing set on the WMC that's far enough off that the signal doesn't get picked up. Can you see any setting for that? It could initialize the system a different way too. Hmm. That gives me an idea.....

I suspect that you're right CA as far as WMC being offset. Other stations do not have the same problem. Both are running under vista. WMC doesn't have a fine tune setting and is more user friendly. WinTV on the other hand is very good . WMC also operates (worthlessly) on a guide system so it lists channels I can't possibly get in SLC like KSVN-CA or KPNZ-DT which doesn't even exist yet. WinTV as you know just scans and is similar to my RCA Digital Converter Box. Doing a scan right now on the RCA still gets 25 digital channels.

You probably have equivalents to the useless entries. I'd presume what's listed as KPNZ-DT1 would be the same as the analog signal, right? And KSVN is translated on K66FN (analog) that you should be able to get without a problem. Whether the listing are of use to you personally is a different question.

It lists the channels of said stations as well as the call letters and programming. KPNZ-DT is on 24 according to WMC and KSVN is on 49, both of which I can't receive. KPNZ-DT is not broadcasting yet obviously. I don't mind the guide thing as it shows me whats playing but when it comes to DXing, it won't be able to know what it is receiving. That's what WinTV is for.
