Oh, that is extremely sad to me. Bob is Maria Shilaos' husband so now they will no longer be working in the same building. Plus, to me, isn't Bob "FM100" - I mean he's been there almost the longest out of current staffers. At least they are not facing this situation: blog.seattlepi.nwsource.com/thebigblog/archives/159718.aspAnyone know if this means more cutbacks coming to the Deseret News? They're up in circulation, but still 5 to 10K under what I remember them being when I subscribed/lived there in 2003-2005 (I canceled the paper after a time). |

Times are tough!! We had to let 4 people go here at The Lake...We are now down to 4 people doing it all..Sales are down 75% and now with Music folks wanting Radio royalities wow will that hurt almost $800.00 a month is what we figure. Looks like we may go satellite delivered from10 pm til 6am. Might have to use my college degree in Enviromental Engineering and start looking for some water jobs and or Wastewater because you know what they say.....Even if the times are hard people will still flush a toilet  Did I mention I took a cut in pay (ouch)!!! and added 50% more work load DSPete |

Pretty sad that the top cluster overall and top Adults 25-54 has laid off 5. (and the top TV station, 8) Makes you wonder what is coming to the little guys like Millcreek.
