83-foot tall (8-story) building to go next door

Looks like that vacant lot at 7001 South 900 East, about half a block away from me, is planned for an eight story building.
It's planning to be 83 feet tall, with apartments and commercial tenants, including another drive-thru restaurant.
It's dead center of my line-of-site to the TV and FM stations on Farnsworth Peak.

I haven't confirmed it, but a neighbor from the condos said the zoning was rejected. Something about having only a small alleyway between the three story existing condos, and the new eight story buildings.

Now, if they could do something about the constant electrical arcing around here, I might be able to hear something on my radios.
