The tone of the last sentence seems to indicate that there are no present plans to promote someone else to head BYU Broadcasting. It seems unique to me for one person to be the head of both nonprofit and for-profit broadcasting companies simultaneously.

Can't believe the D-News used a twelve year old photo. Triad Center looks nothing like that nowadays. All those logos are old (I think the picture was taken as YESCO changed out the original signs). So many of the satellite and microwave antennas are now gone (Bonneville Satellite Company disbanded several years ago) and the uplink in the canyon is just a pile of dust. Still, it's nice to see the KSL1160 logo.

The SLTrib finally picked up the story, and their article says that Jeff Simpson will not simultaneously head BYU Broadcasting and Deseret Management. www.sltrib.com/news/business/2023/11/18/deseret-management-corp-gets-new/ Instead, he will move solely to Deseret Management on December 1st. I guess we will soon know which article was correct on that point, if either of them.
