Not the way the Jazz wanted to start the season but at least everyone in Utah had the opportunity to see it. That's a big win. I've never liked the idea of putting sports exclusively behind a pay wall. I understand it's a business and things like that happen, but at least some games should be freely available IMHO. The branding of the game was interesting. The name SEGMedia was everywhere, but no mention at all of KJZZ 14 that I saw, even when plugging the next game. The two entities are separate and that was made very clear. The Jazz games do throw a little wrinkle into the KJZZ schedule. Anyone who wants to watch the 14 early evening schedule is going to have to play close attention to when games are on. Shows like Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy are going to be a moving target for the next 6 months. Not a huge deal but forgetting will deprive viewers of their nightly mental exercise.
