KPUT (92.9 Mona) has been granted a big power increase and their new coverage area will overlap the existing coverage area of KKUT's K225AP translator in the Provo area on the same frequency. Translators are secondary signals which means K225AP will have to shut down or move.
Isn't K225AP currently simulcasting KKUT's main channel? Listeners should still be able to get a decent signal from the main, I think. It will be interesting to watch and see what they do with the translator.

No. I think they are simulcasting an HD2 or HD3subchannel called Sky FM.

That definitely complicates matters. I hope they don't end up shifting it over to 96.7/K244DH and getting rid of Flashback.
