For those that may still be mourning the loss of (or just are curious about the future of) Vegas' 720 KDWN and 1140 KXST after their shutdown last March, yes Audacy has found them a new home. They've applied to move to the site of co-owned 840 KXNT. It seems kind of odd that it took them 7 months just to come up with that plan, but that's what happened. I had a feeling they wouldn't be dark permanently. DXers, stand by.

I'll be interested in how they do, being that 720 is first adjacent to KSVN-730, as well as so close to 700. And, 1140 is right next to KSL-1160's IBOC carrier .

I don't think 700 is too much of a problem for 720 for most people and with a good radio. 730 would be more of a problem. Trying to null out 730 might work depending on location. At least with the buzz from 1160 it's a constant signal. Since AM is additive you might have a chance of copying 1140 even with the noise over it.
