Maybe this should be posted on Utah TV group.
Was expecting to hear Henry Mancini's "Moon River" during "Breakfast at Tiffany's "yesterday, but FM 100 was streaming.
This has-been ongoing for awhile. What gives?

(This is about a TV station so I moved it.)
The simple part of the answer is that the second/alternate audio track for KSL 5.3 (thisTV) is a simulcast of FM100. The broadcast signal is set up correctly. You mentioned Ch 381 which is where Comcast puts that channel, so something about Comcast is where the problem is. The easiest thing to check (and most likely) would be to see if your cable box somehow got set to the second audio feed. You can check the user manual or maybe someone else who has Comcast can walk you through that. If that's not the case you'd have to contact Comcast and ask them to see what's up.
FWIW, the next airing of Breakfast at Tiffany's is Friday at 9PM.

Thanks for moving thread to tv section.Live in Pleasant Grove Senior Apt and we have xfinity bundle package with our rent. I better fix it before Audrey Hepburn rebroadcast Fri. Lol

To put a ribbon on this thread, xfinity service tech came over and replaced the cable box with same model.(legacy box).As you know,KSL channel 381 was not HD. I should have been watching 1175 HD . No more FM 100 broadcast radio on my This Network on either channels.

Tech telephone supervisor told him it's not uncommon for broadcast radio to sometimes (get into) the main bldg box with rf . This 80 unit apt bldg is 25yo. Cable box swap fixed it.
Now ready for "Breakfast at Tiffany's" Friday night. Lol

That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. It just so happens that a channel that is sent from the broadcaster with an audio subchannel containing FM100 happens to somehow be interfered with by the 100.3 FM signal? That's virtually impossible to begin with. What makes it worse is that I believe Comcast turned off all analog signals years ago.
That sad thing is that I wouldn't be at all surprised if they gave your old box to the next install.

So, were you getting the proper "This TV" video, but the Fm100 audio with it?
Sounds like the Alternate Audio button was activated on your converter.
I had thousands of those calls over the years!

Yes. I was receiving This TV KSL channel 381 and HD 1175 video with FM 100 over both channels. As mentioned,tech swapped old Legacy cable box(2 yrs old)for another new legacy box,non voice remote.
