KSL was in the driver's seat on Sunday carrying the Super Bowl and a special edition of "The Office". They had a scheduled half hour between the end of NBC programming and the regular start time of the 10 o'clock news. How did they use it? A preview show for the Vancouver Olympics a year from now.
Are you kidding?
You've got the biggest lead in you'll have for three years and you show that? Come on here. Play to what the rest of your day was about. You've got the resources of NBC at your disposal. I have to believe they used those during Eyewitness News and SportsBeat. Why not do a special Super Bowl SportsBeat before the regular news to introduce it to viewers who might not know about it? Whatever you do, almost anything would be better than that Olympics fluff.

Ugh, I thought I could get through the rest of the evening without hearing about the Superbowl, but alas...lol jk, I'm still upset Arizona threw the game away. I didn't watch the rest of the game after the final minute. Too depressing, plus I had to get back to work (being KBER tech and all).

Didn't matter for me. I dumped out as soon as Michael Scott made Stanley laugh.
