Longtime Clear Channel talk KNRS/Salt Lake City morning news anchor Andrew Peters died at the age of 58 following a battle with prostate cancer. He had co-anchored the news with Abby Bonell for the last nine years.
He won several awards, including the national Edward R. Murrow Award for "Excellence in Journalism" and the Utah Broadcasters Association award for "Best Newscast."
Prior to radio, Peters played the bass professionally performing around the globe in USO shows. He leaves behind his wife, Janet.
