Up until this month I've only ever seen aggregate billing one month at a time. Starting this month I'm seeing that RMP is collecting my usage every day. Is anyone else seeing this? It concerns me. This information could be potentially very useful to criminals, for example. If a mole inside RMP feeds a burglary ring the addresses of customers whose power usage have dropped significantly for several days in a row, they would have a pretty good idea that nobody was home at those addresses. This feels like a bad idea.

They've been sending me a letter each month, comparing my electric usage to "similar homes in my area". They also note that I can save electricity by washing my clothes in cold water. How will that help, since I have a gas water heater?

I've gotten those letters from Dominion Energy (natural gas). I wonder if they're state mandated for above average users or something. The tips are probably just generic.
What I'm talking about is in my account on the website. There are listings of my actual daily usage. It would look something like this:
Feb 20 - 18.3kwh Feb 21 - 21.1kwh Feb 22 - 23.7kwh Feb 23 - 19.2kwh etc.
I think I might know what's happening but I need more research. Nobody else is seeing this?
