KCVB Logan being sold

LPTV KCVB channel 26 is being sold to the owners of the NEWSNet all-news diginet, which will apparently be its new source of programming. Currently KCVB is mostly locally produced programming, including high school sports and parades.
It's too bad that a station focused on the local community (and doing a nice job from the little I've seen) is being replaced by yet another news channel, this one from Michigan. I feel bad for those who won't get to see their local community there anymore.
