I'm curious. On these tests, is there any reporting as to whether for particular broadcasters the test was successful. Are failures mostly reported on the honor system? (I can't imagine that some FCC employee is quickly turning the dial to see if all of the stations are airing the EAS tones. And who do the broadcaster report failures to, if anyone?

The stations are on the honor system to log the results of the tests, and to log any repairs to the equipment, or any errors encountered in the tests. The FCC can request to see the logs, if they suspect a problem, or during a routine inspection.

Stations are on the honor system for virtually everything they do, as we've discussed many times.

A very quick tune through the AM band, I heard several stations that auto-forwarded the test. That's good.
