This afternoon JackFM 103.1 was messing up royal. Several of their songs stopped in the middle of playing and then overlapped other songs and their commercials aired out of sync.
The funny thing is, they had a DJ there that was oblivious to it all.

I'll bet you 5-to-1 he was either voice-tracked, or doing voice-tracking while trying to be on the air at the same time.
I hope Obama's FCC appointments push for 24/7 staffing.

I wonder if he was being sarcastic.
Even if the new FCC mandates 24/7 staffing, I don't see it being anything more than an engineer manually babysitting the transmitter and reacting if there's an EAS alert. I don't even think they'd be required to monitor the stations, do you?
