I can think of:
Salt Lake Metro (Provo, Ogden) Logan St. George, Cedar City Vernal
am I missing any? And by market, I mean a group of stations focusing their strength on one general area... doesn't have to be a ranked market or anything like that.
Also, what stations are successful and sound good... which ones don't?
I remember driving through cedar city back in 2004 and hearing a remote that was not so well done. The people were goofing off a ton and it was about 5 minutes of talk that I couldn't understand.
I always thought VFX sounded great, but I haven't heard them much in the last 3 years or so.
Of course I work in Vernal, so I welcome any thoughts.

You might count Moab.

Well, Moab is interesting. It only has one local commercial station of its own and one non-commercial (but very active) station.
I think Park City could be its own market if people tried to spin it the right way - there's a decent amount of people but amazingly not one commercial station tries to reach the 'resort' audience yet.
I think Price is its own market at this point, but I believe there's only two stations both under the same ownership. However, KWSA has an incredible translator in Moab.

I'd have to disagree there. Many Salt Lake area commercial stations have boosters or translators in Park City. I count 9.
