According to my digital box, KTVX 4.2 is no longer being called The Hive. It's just 4.2 now. The website (thehivetv.com) is still showing the old name, but it's really never been carefully maintained. It would be nice if there was more information there, but that's a different story.
Has anyone caught any IDs on 4.2 lately?

Mine said New 4.2 last time I checked. I wonder what will happen with the Hive, if its not there. Will they drop it all together. I'd like to see it stay. Maybe they can put it on 4.3.

Ken is right. The programming changed since I made the initial post. A full refresh on my box (gee I wish that wasn't necessary) ID's the channel as "Untamed" now. A little Googling shows that this is a new service that seems to be looking toward the old Pax model of creating a national network by utilizing local broadcast stations. From the Wikipedia article, Newport stations are the only ones currently running it, but I don't fully trust Wiki. It's odd that Newport would have sacrificed The Hive for this new service when there's unused bandwidth over at KUCW-DT for one or the other.

Good point CA. I actually miss The Hive. Couldn't they put it on 4.3? I was planning on submitting some movies I've made to the Hive, guess not now.
