Hot on the heels of KSUD hitting the digital airwaves is KQTI. The application to assign its license (along with KUTA) from Airwaves to the Weigel people was approved Aug 31 but no consummation notice has been filed that I can see. Nonetheless it is currently on the air on RF 31 with no programming. This one I'm looking forward to since it will be rebroadcasting subchannels of Weigel's KCSG according to their filing. According to the information I have, as of 2018 they were running H&I in high def on 8.1 and standard def Decades on 8.2 and Start TV on 8.3. H&I of course is already on KTVX 4.4 but maybe this could relieve some of the strain on 4.x that adding TBD and Charge caused during the ATSC3 switchover. Decades and Start TV are two of the biggest diginets that we're currently missing. Should be fun.

And now we have programming. This is what's on now:
8.1 KCSG-HD - currently blank
8.2 Decades - on air
8.3 StartTV - on air
8.4 Heroes - currently blank

I'm glad to see Decades and StartTV finally available here. There are good shows there. With "Heroes" listed for 8.4 I assume that means H&I. Will H&I survive on 4.4 also? Stay tuned.

Something I didn't think to do last night would be to check the EPG to see what information is there about what 8.1 should be showing. Not surprisingly it's MeTV. I'm thinking 8.1 and 8.4 being blank must be deliberate to avoid conflicting with KTVX's broadcasts, but will that hold?
