Now on Ch 33, KSUD is on the air in digital. I think this is the first time they've been digital. They were previously in analog on Ch 45 and before that on Ch 68.
The signal is from a tower north of Kessler (the same one KBTU and dead air KUTB are on) and the signal is pointed mostly southeast at Salt Lake County. There's only one subchannel right now (Daystar) and I don't expect any more. Their KUTF (12 Logan) reportedly only has the single Daystar feed on it and they are a non-profit. The program itself has been going up and down all day but once it gets stabilized anyone who has an interest in Daystar programming has a new source.

There goes the last available UHF TV channel in the market that was available for wireless microphone use. 14-36 are now filled up. I wonder if it will broadcast full-time, independently of the Logan main. I've been told that the Logan station only operates a few hours every year, just to keep it's license up.

Is Ch 16 is assigned to fixed wireless or are the LP stations just too close or something?
About the Logan station, are you sure that's KUTF? Them being mostly off the air doesn't make sense to me. They're a religious organization and don't they make money by soliciting contributions from viewers? The Logan area has KUTF, KUTA and KUTO. I'm pretty sure it's KUTO that's the primary for KUTB Ch 18 in Salt Lake that is on the air once a year (if that) like you described.
