Ever play this?
You're in traffic. You're scanning around the FM dial and you run into a station you haven't heard before. Listening for a bit you figure out that it's playing an MP3 player or satellite or something like that. The game is, as traffic is moving along try to figure out from signal strength (or lack thereof) which car is the one that's broadcasting the signal.
I got to play it this afternoon a bit south of Ogden. For some reason, this car was on 95.3 and getting beaten up pretty badly by KYFO. Maybe it wasn't an agile transmitter and had just a few choices, but that's far from the best choice in the area. Anyway, I think I got it narrowed down to a red car but I'm not sure. (I'm lousy at identifying make/model of cars.) It's a fun game to play anyway.
Ever try this?

(as long as it doesn't step on my Sirius... but I can't take that in the car anymore anyway)

I have to say I've played this one. Usually sitting in a parking lot at the grocery store or at Wal-Mart or something whilst I sit with the kids whilst the wife is inside picking something up. MANY times I've been fooled by thinking.... "WOW! Cool! FM E-skip!" and I hear 2 or 3 songs before the big black truck 2 stalls down drives away and the station goes away.

Last year on Spring break I drove down to Moab with one of those transmitters. It only has a few choices, mostly in the 88.x region. Since the back of my car was dirty, I wrote (with my finger) that this car was broadcasting on 88.7. A couple in an SUV drove past me near SLC and were jamming to my music. LOL.
