OK Nexstar, we get it. You want your satellite back.

It's now been a month since DirecTV knocked the Nexstar stations around the country off their lineup. If you've been watching either ABC4 or CW30 another way since then you're constantly being reminded of that fact. It started with crawls announcing their position. I find that highly obnoxious and annoying and I'll bet I'm not alone. Don't pollute the programming. Your customers don't like it and have expressed that ad nauseam. Then they added 30 second promos. Those wouldn't be too bad if they has removed the incessant crawls but they didn't.

Here's the kicker and what makes none of this make any sense. If you're watching the sales pitch asking you to call DirecTV, you can already see the station and don't NEED to get it from DirecTV.

Nexstar, please just stop it. Anyone who was going to call has already done it. Now you're just annoying everyone.

Yea I've been seeing it when watching MeTV KTVX 4.2 on Saturday nights.

For those who care (and didn't already know) the blackout is over, a deal was reached and now those spots can go away.

Now maybe Nexstar can turn to other matters that need fixing, like KUCW 30.4 STILL showing as Escape even though it flipped to CourtTV almost 4 months ago.
